Bobby K
Bobby Kheradmand A.K.A DJ Bobby K is a professional DJ, and has been DJing in Toronto’s nightclub scene since 2005. Currently, he is the resident DJ at Cheval on Thursday nights, My Apartment on Friday nights, and Century Room on Saturday nights. Since 2007, Bobby has spinned at Cheval and Century Room’s special events before becoming their permanent DJ.
Music wise, Bobby specializes in hip-hop, house, rock and oldies. Bobby is a self taught DJ, with experience in music production. His skills include advanced scratching, rapid mixing, improvised mash ups, and none of the music he brings is pre-recorded. Bobby began his career when he DJed at Polson Pier on a Saturday night. After his audition, he became the resident DJ spinning to 1,500 people each week. Since then he has DJed for 1812, Dolce, Lobby, Mansion, Tryst, Courthouse, Maison Mercer, and underground after hours music parties.
When spinning mash ups or party tracks Bobby compares himself to Girl Talk, Kid Capri or the late DJ AM. When he is spinning house, he sounds more like Axwell or Dirty South. Bobby brings an onstage presence that differs from other DJs; with his high energy Bobby enjoys engaging and dancing with the crowd. In addition to Toronto, Bobby has DJed in B.C. and internationally. In Canada, Bobby was asked to DJ for Bar None in Vancouver. Internationally he was asked to DJ at Bulldog’s in Cancun, Mexico and for Havana Club in Varadero, Cuba
