A nice thing about this trend is that it doesn’t have to be suited to a specific body type. Although one ought to use some common sense when choosing the clothing type (example: if you’re conscious of your legs, perhaps don’t choose an asymmetrical dress or skirt), they are otherwise quite figure-neutral. The most important aspect of this trend wardrobe-wise is that it creates visual interest, and allows for the clothing item to become more versatile for different occasions. That is to say that the item can be worn in a more formal way as well as more casually. Win-win!

This cocktail of the week is as beautiful as it is delicious. Try mixing up a batch one afternoon to enjoy in the sunshine, or just before an evening barbecue.

Ingredients:
1 part Grey Goose
1 part Pineau des Charentes
1/2 parts Creme de Cassis
2 tsp. Lemon Juice
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
1 small cluster Red Currants
Lemon Twist

Directions:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all ingredients.
2. Shake will and strain into a chilled martini glass.
3. Garnish with zest of lemon and a cluster of red currants.
